Champion Safe backlog stood at a company-reported record $3.9 million in open orders as the American Rebel Holdings subsidiary seeks to increase production and improve fulfillment ahead of the fall and holiday selling season.
The safe and vault-door maker said it had recently secured growth capital intended to accelerate production, strengthen supplier commitments and support dealer fulfillment. The company did not disclose the amount or terms of that financing in the filing.
Champion Safe Backlog Drives Production and Fulfillment Focus
Champion said its priority is to manufacture and ship outstanding orders, which it said would convert open orders into revenue while adding inventory to dealer showrooms. The company is allocating additional resources to manufacturing throughput, materials, supplier continuity and production scheduling, according to the filing.
The Champion Safe backlog reflects demand from dealers, the company said, while cautioning that its expectations for production, shipments, revenue and other operational improvements are forward-looking and subject to risks including supply-chain disruptions, materials costs, logistics delays and order changes or cancellations.
Champion participated in the Sports Inc August Outdoor Show in Nashville, Tennessee, held August 13-15. The event brought the company together with independently owned sporting-goods retailers making inventory plans for the second half of the year. Champion said it used the show to engage dealers on product demand, fulfillment and retailer support.
American Rebel Holdings, which owns Champion Safe, said its business has expanded from safes and personal security products into beverages, apparel and accessories. Champion said independent specialty retailers remain central to its distribution model and that it is working to improve manufacturing execution and dealer support as it addresses its open orders.
