Teva Price Target Raised to $48 After Celiac Trial Success

The Teva price target was raised to $48 from $42 at UBS after the drugmaker reported positive Phase 2a results for its experimental celiac disease treatment.

UBS maintained its Buy rating on Teva (NYSE: TEVA), pointing to successful study data and a pipeline with several potential catalysts in 2027. The rating and price target represent the analyst’s opinion, not company guidance or a guaranteed market outcome.

Teva said in its official trial announcement that a single subcutaneous dose of TEV-‘408 produced a statistically significant and clinically meaningful reduction in gluten-induced intestinal damage compared with placebo.

Teva Price Target Reflects Pipeline Expectations

TEV-‘408 is an anti-IL-15 monoclonal antibody being studied as a potential treatment for celiac disease. The company said the therapy was well tolerated in the study and that no safety signals were observed.

The topline result strengthens the program’s clinical rationale, but the Phase 2a study is an intermediate step rather than evidence of regulatory approval. Larger trials will be required to establish the treatment’s efficacy, safety and commercial potential across a broader patient population.

The revised valuation depends partly on successful pipeline execution and future clinical milestones. Trial setbacks, regulatory delays or weaker-than-expected commercial prospects could cause the shares to perform differently from the analyst’s target.
