The Oracle equity issuance raised $20 billion after the company completed its previously disclosed at-the-market program during the fiscal first quarter. Oracle (NYSE: ORCL) paired the financing update with new figures on its artificial intelligence infrastructure buildout.
Since the end of the fourth quarter, Oracle said it delivered 850 megawatts of AI capacity containing more than 300,000 graphics processing units. First-quarter delivery was nearly three times the amount delivered in the entire fourth quarter and represented 73% of the capacity delivered during the previous fiscal year.
Oracle Equity Issuance Supports Rapid AI Infrastructure Expansion
Oracle also said it signed more than $30 billion of additional AI contracts during the quarter without requiring additional capital from the company. The statement points to strong contracted demand, but the timing of revenue recognition will depend on construction, equipment availability and customer deployments.
The company’s official quarterly earnings page provides its results and supporting financial materials. Oracle also plans to introduce a new agentic AI accelerator at its AI World event in October.
The completed Oracle equity issuance strengthens funding capacity but also increases the share count, creating dilution for existing investors. Markets will weigh that dilution against the earnings and cash flow that Oracle’s new data-center capacity and AI contracts may eventually generate.
