The Digital Realty Türkiye joint venture with Rönesans Infrastructure will develop and operate next-generation data centers across the country. Digital Realty (NYSE: DLR) said the partnership extends its PlatformDIGITAL footprint into the Turkish market.

The first investment will be a carrier-neutral data center campus in Ankara designed to support more than 22 megawatts of information-technology capacity. Land, power arrangements and permits have been secured, and early construction work has started.

The first facility is scheduled for completion in 2028. The partners aim to serve growing demand from cloud providers, enterprises and network operators while establishing Ankara as a larger regional digital-infrastructure hub.

Digital Realty provides project announcements through its official investor newsroom. Carrier-neutral facilities allow customers to choose among multiple network providers, potentially improving connectivity options and reducing dependence on a single carrier.

The Digital Realty Türkiye joint venture gives the U.S.-listed data center operator exposure to a growing market connecting Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Returns will depend on construction costs, energy availability, customer commitments, financing and the rate at which the campus reaches occupancy.
