ADGM assets under management increased 54% year over year in the first half of 2026, according to the financial centre’s first-half activity report.
The number of fund and asset managers operating from Abu Dhabi Global Market rose 23% to 190, while the number of managed funds increased 32% to 276. ADGM said firms establishing operations during the period oversee more than $2.1 trillion in assets globally, although that figure is not the amount managed inside the jurisdiction.

Active licences reached 13,974 after 1,814 were issued during the half. Operational entities climbed 34% from a year earlier to 3,986, and the number of financial-services entities increased 27% to 392.
ADGM’s combined workforce across Al Maryah Island and Al Reem Island reached 49,027, up 34% from the comparable period. The centre said 4,688 professionals were added during the first six months of the year.
The figures point to continued expansion in Abu Dhabi’s financial-services ecosystem. They were reported by ADGM and should be read as jurisdictional operating data rather than a measure of investment returns or economic output across the wider United Arab Emirates.
