The Enbridge CEO transition will make Michele Harradence president and chief executive officer on January 1, 2027, following the announced retirement of Greg Ebel.
Enbridge (NYSE: ENB) disclosed the succession plan in a company announcement. Ebel currently serves as president and CEO.
Enbridge CEO Transition Elevates a Gas-Operations Executive
Harradence currently leads the company’s gas distribution and storage business. Enbridge’s executive profile says she has more than 25 years of experience across the energy value chain, including upstream, midstream, downstream, retail and oil-field services.
She joined Enbridge in 2014 after working at Shell for 16 years and previously served as chief operating officer of the gas transmission and midstream operation. Her current business oversees an integrated gas utility platform serving customers in Canada and the United States.
The announcement establishes the succession date but does not by itself indicate a change to Enbridge’s capital plan, dividend policy or financial guidance. Investors will need to assess any strategic changes through subsequent company filings and presentations.
