The Broadridge DLX platform has launched as an infrastructure layer intended to connect tokenized assets with traditional financial-market systems.

Broadridge (NYSE: BR) said in its product announcement that DLX supports issuance, trading, settlement, servicing, custody, governance and distribution across on-chain and off-chain environments.

The system uses a modular, multi-chain design and is launching with the ability to connect to the DTCC Tokenization Service through the Canton network. Broadridge said clients can use self-custody, third-party custody or hybrid custody structures.

DLX builds on the company’s Distributed Ledger Repo service. Broadridge reports that the existing service processes more than $350 billion in daily activity across securities-financing and collateral transactions.

The new platform is designed for banks, broker-dealers, asset managers, issuers, institutional investors and wealth firms. Supported assets may include bonds, equities, funds, private-market instruments and money-market products.

The launch does not establish adoption levels, transaction revenue or regulatory approval for every proposed use. Those outcomes will depend on client integrations, eligible assets and the rules governing each market.
