The precision technology company’s reported EPS exceeded the $3.09 consensus estimate, while revenue topped expectations of $779.4 million. Nordson said sales reached records across each of its three segments.
For fiscal 2026, Nordson increased its EPS forecast to $11.80 to $12.00, from a prior range of $11.30 to $11.80. The new range is above the $11.59 consensus estimate cited by The Fly.
The company also lifted its revenue outlook to $3.035 billion to $3.075 billion, compared with previous guidance of $2.93 billion to $3.01 billion. The consensus revenue estimate was $2.98 billion, according to The Fly.
Chief Executive Sundaram Nagarajan said execution, portfolio diversification and operating performance supported the quarter’s results. The company also cited free-cash-flow generation and continued investment in the business.
Nordson shares were up about 2% at $317 following the results and guidance update, according to a separate The Fly market alert.
