The White House said President Donald Trump secured agreements with nine additional pharmaceutical manufacturers to provide MFN drug pricing for U.S. patients, based on the lowest prices paid by other developed nations. The administration said the additions bring its total to 26 manufacturers, representing 89% of the branded drug market.

The companies named in the agreements are Alcon, Astellas Pharma, BeOne Medicines, BridgeBio, CSL, Kyowa Kirin, Sun Pharma, Teva Pharmaceuticals and UCB. The White House said the agreements cover medicines used for conditions including hemophilia, Parkinson’s disease, macular degeneration, glaucoma, liver disease, skin conditions and cancers.

Every state Medicaid program will have access to the agreed prices for products made by the nine companies, according to the fact sheet. The administration said the arrangements also apply most-favored-nation prices to new innovative medicines brought to market by the companies.

The nine manufacturers committed to invest at least $19.6 billion collectively in U.S. manufacturing in the near term, the White House said. Several also agreed to contribute active pharmaceutical ingredients to the Strategic Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients Reserve, including supplies of anticonvulsants, antibiotics, an antihypertensive medicine and an immunosuppressant.

The administration estimated that its broader MFN drug pricing agreements could generate $600 billion in savings over the next decade. It said the latest deals follow an executive order signed in May 2025 and subsequent agreements with major drugmakers, including Pfizer, Eli Lilly, Novo Nordisk, Merck and Johnson & Johnson.
