The General Dynamics Navy contract carries a potential value of $184.25 million for next-generation electronic warfare hardware and support. General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) will manufacture Full Rate Production Next Generation Electronics Attack Units and provide related sustainment services.
The indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity award combines firm-fixed-price and cost-plus-fixed-fee elements. It also includes future sustainment support for the Advanced Capability Mission Computer.
General Dynamics Navy Contract Supports Electronic Warfare Systems
Work will be performed in Bloomington, Minnesota, and is expected to continue through September 2032. Electronic attack systems are designed to help military platforms detect, disrupt or counter hostile signals, making reliability and long-term support central to mission readiness.
The award was disclosed through the government’s official contract announcement service. It was issued on a sole-source basis under federal acquisition authority because the Navy determined that only one responsible source could satisfy its requirements.
The General Dynamics Navy contract provides a multi-year opportunity, but an IDIQ ceiling does not guarantee that the entire amount will be ordered. Revenue will depend on individual task orders, appropriations, production timing and execution performance through the contract period.
